******pre orders, shippping begins 16th of December 2024****** A rustic garlic cultivar that has been grown in the Monaro region of NSW for over 70 years. A little lady by the surname of Inkeri found this garlic growing on her farm called Birchgrove located near Cooma, NSW, that was left there from previous owners. She kept on growing it for the next 50 years and had given some seed for a local to keep growing it and that local has entrusted us with this variety now to help grow commercially and keep the flavours flowing through our garlic eating and growing community. In honour of the lady who kept the cultivar growing and her farm, we have named the garlic, "Birchgrove Red" (formerly known as Inkeri Red).
