A variety grown by my parents for over 20 years, originally cultivated on the South Coast of NSW in Wandandian or otherwhile locally known as "Wandy", where my parents used to have a little hobby farm. This variety is the garlic that got me started growing and wanting to eat more garlic due to its great taste when used by mum in her cooking. Garlic sub group: Turban Garlic type: Hardneck Type: Weakly bolting, produces a scape in cooler climates Storage: Short (4 to 5 months) Planting & harvest: Early to mid Flavour: medium spice when raw, nutty when roasted/sauteed.
